The Opportunity

What’s involved

As Support Services Manager, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of key services across:

  • Subcontractor and supplier management
  • Australian Industry Capability (AIC) and regional development initiatives
  • Technical data and Defence-supplied equipment (GFE, GFM, GFS, GFD)
  • Uniformed personnel management
  • Maintenance Management System and regulatory compliance
  • Service delivery reporting, administration, and coordination

You'll also oversee the management and development and upkeep of essential plans and documentation, potentially including:

  • Annual Regional Worklists
  • Maintenance and Supply Chain Plans
  • Supplies Acceptance and Deviation documentation Technical Data Schedule and List
  • Survey & Quote, Efficiency Reports, and Maintenance Service Requests 

 

You’ll need

  • Demonstrated leadership in delivering support services within a complex stakeholder environment
  • Experience managing support services within an Australian Defence context
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation
  • Sharp attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to build, lead and support high-performing teams
  • Deep knowledge of engineering, maintenance, and supply support systems
  • Understanding of Defence Engineering statutory compliance requirements
